JUKE BOX 96/OCTOBER, 1992... From March, 1992 to March, 1994, 96.3 FM in St. Louis was an Oldies station that was too great to believe ! I was one of the architects of the new format and we saw to it that the "Roots of Rock" were recognized. Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, The Penquins, The Five Satins, Little Richard...well, you get the idea. And, speaking of "ideas", one of the things we created was the "Top 5 At 8", and, later, the "Top 5 At 10", which I did on my 7-Mid. Show.
